I had camped overnight nearby, but endured a miserable night in rather humid and hot conditions, with what seemed like millions of mosquitoes buzzing about my head all night. But I was up at first light, hoping to capture an iconic image of boab trees on a grassy plain, with rugged ranges in the distance. Some clouds were moving fast from the east before dawn, despite the lack of breeze on the ground. I captured these small clouds as they passed to the south behind these boab trees.
