Gallery of Landscape Photography of rainforests, forests, and woodlands, by Michael Seebeck. This gallery consists mainly of panoramic landscape photography of rainforests, particularly those found in the ‘Wet Tropics’ of North and Far North Queensland, as well as subtropical and temperate rainforests. There are are panoramic landscape photographs of eucalyptus forests and woodlands found in drier regions of Australia, usually ‘west of the Divide’ in eastern Australia.
It can be difficult to convey the intricate beauty of forests with photographs, as much of the detail and beauty may not be obvious at first glance. Many of the creatures of Australian forests are hidden throughout the day and are only active at night. Birds can be shy and are often found only high above in the canopies of trees. Whilst it can be very challenging to capture a beautiful image of some forests, it can be very rewarding when one does. Michael absolutely loves being in untouched forests, as he sees beauty every where, and you never quite know what you will find next; there can be endless photographic possibilities of both landscapes and wildlife…Click on “HIDE MENU” below to show the images in a full screen gallery (to go back to this page, click “SHOW MENU”), or click on each image to show it in larger size.
